Attack of the Gnomes!

I love making cards, really I do! I love that I get to use Lawn Fawn stamps to make sample cards. Even coloring 40 gnomes and 40 bees and assembling 40 cards is a blast. But when it's late at night and those gnomes seem to be multiplying.....

......well you get the picture....

You just may find this card in your favorite Archiver's store....

May all your cardmaking adventures be FUN!

New Lawn Fawn - Happy 4th

I always know when it's 9:30pm. That's when the Disneyland fireworks show starts. I've been listening to it for 33 years now. We used to be able to see the fireworks from our front porch but over the years the trees in our neighborhood have grown taller and they obscure the view to the Disneyland Resort now. But since we are about 5 miles from Disneyland we still hear them. In recent years Anaheim Stadium, home to the Angels has started to set off fireworks for home runs and winning games. We are less than 3 miles from the stadium; we always know when the Angels have a home game and we can see the fireworks from our backyard!

I also love the patriotic side to fireworks shows so the new Happy 4th stamp set makes me really happy! The images can be used for Independence Day or New Year's. They can be snowflakes or stylized flowers.

This could make a great invitation to a July 4th Celebration!

How about a New Year's Eve party? Gold embossing on black is really festive!

(I'm sorry for the poor quality of these photos, don't quite know what went wrong but since I no longer have the cards this is the best I can do.)

Love this set so much! Isn't that little rocket cute?

New Lawn Fawn - Lucky Stars

These starry sentiments are perfect for so many occasions! The fonts are fun too!

The Puffy Stars Stackables dies have a really fun shape. I used both the positive and negative die cuts for these 2 cards and a tag.

I've got some Fireworks for you tomorrow!

Happy Mother's Day

I hope everyone is enjoying a lovely day! With any luck I will be filling some terra cotta pots with pretty plants today, I don't have any plans beyond that. (big smile!)

I made a quick CAS card:

Lawn Fawn- Mother's Day and Simon Says Stamp- Flower Friend
Hero Arts inks- Soft Granite, Soft Pool
Lawn Trimmings Vivid Twine

And I made one that was a little less quick:

Lawn Fawn- Mother's Day, Blissful Botanicals, Petite Florals
Blissful Botanicals Lawn Cuts
Studio Calico - Huey's Mask Intertwined Circles
To get the pattern on the orange panel I first applied Dried Marigold Distress ink evenly over the panel. Then using the mask I sprayed with a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls powder.

Happy Mother's Day

New Lawn Fawn - Critters at the Dog Park

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this set! I love dogs and these stamps are just too adorable!
I got to play with the new Stackable Lawn Cuts dies so this card used both the Circle and the Scalloped Circle dies.

This new Critters set has coordinating dies too! I love the look of the little white border around stamped images but I just can't ever cut them out by hand clean enough. With the new dies my little dogs will always be perfectly groomed!

You will be seeing stars on Monday!

New Lawn Fawn- Blue Skies

Hot Air balloons, clouds, wonderful inspiring sentiments this set is perfect! And there's Lawn Cuts Dies to match! I had a great time playing with this set.

The balloons are so much fun to paper-piece. I used Pink Lemonade and Daphne's Closet papers and a bit of Copic coloring.

I'll be sharing Critters at the Dog Park tomorrow! It seems appropriate since I will be dog-sitting for the famous Miss Daphne, herself.

New Lawn Fawn - A Good Apple

I just love this set! A Good Apple has images that are perfect for a teacher but I think the creativity with this set will go beyond the classroom!

I made this card to be displayed at Stamp Fever and it's based on a sample card I designed for Lawn Fawn to send to retail stores. I just love the fun little accessory images and that little strip of Dewey Decimal paper!

My son Ben's brand new fiancee (!!!) Mary is receiving her Master's Degree in Reading Education this month. I'm thinking this set will make a perfect card to congratulate her on this amazing achievement!

The newly engaged couple!

Tomorrow I'll be sharing Blue Skies!
